Printers Menu

Purpose

The Printers page is used to select a Bluetooth Classic (SPP) printer, save a default printer, and ensure the printer is ready when you print.

Main sections

  1. Header

    • Shows the Printer title and Bluetooth Classic (SPP) subtitle.
  2. Status

    • Shows current connection status (if any).
    • Shows the saved default printer.
  3. Action Buttons

    • Scan Printer: scan for available Bluetooth devices.
    • Load Paired: load devices that are already paired.
    • Disconnect: disconnect the active printer connection.
    • Printer Settings: open printer settings.
  4. Daftar Printer

    • Shows device name and ID.
    • Badges:
      • Paired: the device is paired.
      • Default: saved as default printer.
      • Connected: active connection.
    • Connect button to save the printer as default.

How to connect a printer

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. If the printer doesn’t appear, pair it in Android Bluetooth settings first.
  3. Tap “Load Paired” or “Scan Printer”.
  4. Select the printer and tap “Connect”.
  5. On success, the printer is saved as default.

Important notes

  • The app ensures the printer is ready when printing, not a permanent connection.
  • If Bluetooth/location permissions are missing, the app will request them first.

Tips

  • Use “Load Paired” to show already paired devices quickly.
  • If the printer is hard to detect, move closer and scan again.
