Printer Settings Menu

Purpose

The Printer Settings page is used to adjust receipt printing size and quality according to your printer type and paper size.

Main sections

  1. Header

    • Shows current printer connection status.
    • Back button to the previous screen.
  2. Status Koneksi

    • Shows connected/not connected status.
    • If no default printer is set, you will be prompted to connect a printer first.
  3. Lebar Cetak

    • Bitmap width (dots) to fit the paper.
    • Can be increased/decreased step-by-step.
    • Quick presets are available.
  4. Skala Cetak

    • Adjust print scale (similar to browser scale).
    • Recommended: 80%–120%.
  5. Kompensasi Zoom Layar

    • Increase scale if output becomes smaller due to Android zoom.
    • Recommended: 100%–130%.
  6. Pengiriman Data

    • Chunk size: size of each data chunk sent to the printer.
    • Delay (ms): delay between chunks.
    • Recommended: 384–768 bytes and 5–20 ms.
  7. Margin (mm)

    • Set top/right/bottom/left margins.
    • Used to shift print position.
  8. Save Settings

    • Saves changes when the printer is connected.

Quick usage flow

  1. Ensure your default printer is connected.
  2. Set print width to match the paper.
  3. Adjust scale/zoom if output is too large or too small.
  4. If printing is slow, tune chunk size and delay.
  5. Adjust margins to align the output.
  6. Tap “Save Settings”.

Tips

  • If output is cut off, reduce width or scale.
  • If output is too small, increase scale or zoom compensation.
  • After switching printers, re-check settings.
