Users Menu
Purpose
Users is used to manage user accounts in MAXsi POS:
- View the user list (active/inactive).
- Search by name, email, or username.
- Filter user type (Non Customer / Customer / All).
- Add users, edit users, delete users.
- Reset a user’s password.
Header
- Title: Users
- Subtitle: “Add / edit / delete users”
- + Add button: opens the create-user form.
Search
- Placeholder: “Search name/email/username”
- Typing reloads the list after a short delay.
- A manual reload button (↻) may be available.
User Type Filter (Chips)
- Non Customer: non-customer users (cashiers/staff).
- Customer: customer users.
- All: all users.
Tip: for cashier/staff management, use Non Customer.
User List
Each user card may show:
- Full name, username, email (when available)
- Group
- Status: Active/Inactive
- Optional fields such as biller, warehouse, and access toggles
- A quick ON/OFF badge for active state
Actions
On each user card you typically have:
- Edit
- Reset PW
- Delete (with confirmation)
Pagination
At the bottom:
- Prev / Next
- Page indicator
Page X / Y
Add / Edit User (Form)
Required fields
- First name
- Last name
- Username
- Group
- Password
- Required for Add
- Optional for Edit (leave blank to keep unchanged)
Optional fields
- Phone
- Status (Active/Inactive)
- Biller (optional)
- Warehouse (optional)
- Access toggles:
- Show Cost
- Show Price
- Allow Discount
- Award points (numeric)
Notes
- Group/Biller/Warehouse fields use pickers.
- On mobile, long lists may be limited; use search or manage via web if needed.
Reset Password (Modal)
- Tap Reset PW on a user card.
- Enter a new password.
- Tap Reset.
The new password is required; empty values are rejected.
Troubleshooting
- If the list fails to load: tap “Try again”, switch filters, and verify your session/connection.
Tips
- For cashiers, ensure the correct group and Active status.
- Configure cost/price visibility and discounts based on policy.
- Use search to quickly find a user during password resets.
