Purchase History (By Product)
Page Purpose
The Purchase History page helps you review purchase transactions grouped by product (and/or supplier) within a selected date range. It’s useful for:
- Tracking which suppliers you bought a product from
- Checking qty and purchase value per transaction
- Opening product details to review price, stock, and other history
- Selecting multiple rows for a quick recap (checklist mode)
How to Open
- From Entry (main menu), open Purchase History.
- The page opens with the title “Purchase History”.
Header Actions
In the header you may see:
- Overs
- Opens the ProductsQuantityOvers page (insights/overs).
- Checklist (check-circle icon)
- Enables checklist mode to select rows.
- Calendar (calendar icon)
- Select the date range.
Search
Below the header there is a search field:
- Placeholder: “Search supplier / product…”
- Results filter the list, and a message like “Showing X results” appears when a keyword is active.
History List
The history is shown as scrollable cards/rows.
Key behavior:
- Load more: scrolling near the bottom loads the next page.
- The footer may show:
- “Loading…”
- “All data loaded”
Checklist Mode (Quick Recap)
When checklist mode is on, you can select multiple rows. With selected rows:
- A floating summary appears showing:
- Selected count
- Total Qty (sum)
- Total Subtotal (sum)
This is helpful for quick recaps without manual calculation.
Selecting a Date Range
- Tap the calendar icon.
- Choose start and end dates.
- Tap Apply to reload data for that range.
Product Detail (Modal)
When you open a product detail from the history, you may see:
- Name, code, brand, category
- Base price and cost
- Promotion info (if still active)
- Unit pricing details (if any)
- Group pricing (if any)
- Stock per warehouse (if available)
Common action buttons:
- Edit: open the edit product page.
- Sync QTY: sync product stock.
- Stock History: stock movement history.
- Purchase History: purchase history for this product.
- Sales History: sales history for this product.
Note:
- If the product is invalid, the app may show “Invalid product.”
Purchase Detail (Modal)
From a purchase history row, you can also open Purchase Detail, which may show:
- Reference, date, supplier, status & payment status, warehouse (if any)
- Totals (grand total, paid, balance)
- Items list (qty, unit, price, subtotal)
- Purchase notes (if any)
Bottom actions often include:
- Edit (go to Edit Purchase)
- Payment (add or manage purchase payments)
Empty State / Errors
- “No data”: widen the date range or loosen your search keyword.
- If errors occur: check connection and confirm your login session is still active.
Tips
- Use search to focus on a specific supplier or product.
- Use checklist mode to sum multiple rows quickly (qty & totals).
- For stock/cost audits, open Product Detail then use Sync QTY or Stock History.
