Settings Menu (Configuration & Master Data)

Purpose

Settings is used to configure the app and manage important master data such as categories, units, warehouses, taxes, brands, currencies, user groups/permissions, and more.

How to Open

  1. From Entry (main menu), open Settings.
  2. The Settings page shows a grid of menu cards (commonly 2 columns).

Access Notes (Roles)

Not all Settings menus are available to every role:

  • Some menus are Owner only.
  • Some menus are Owner/Admin.
  • If you don’t have permission, the app may show “You are not allowed to access this menu.”
  • If you’re not logged in, most menus will be disabled and you’ll be redirected to Login.

Common Menus Inside Settings

Depending on your build and permissions, you may see:

  • POS Settings (Owner, login required)
  • Biometrics (may be accessible anytime)
  • Categories (Owner, login required)
  • Expense Categories (Owner, login required)
  • Generate COA (Owner, login required)
  • Units (Owner, login required)
  • Warehouses (Owner, login required)
  • User Groups (Owner, login required)
  • Tax Rates (Owner, login required)
  • Brands (Owner, login required)
  • Currencies (Owner, login required)
  • Change Logo (Owner, login required)
  • Billers (Owner, login required)
  • FCM Tester (Owner/Admin, login required)
  • Reload Setup (Owner/Admin, login required)

Tips

  • If a master data menu can’t be opened, confirm you are logged in and have the right role (Owner / Owner+Admin).
  • After editing master data, changes are typically saved immediately and used across the app.
