Settings: Brands

Purpose

Brands manages your product brand master data.

Access

  • Login required.
  • Typically Owner only.

Main Features

  • Search: “Search code/name/slug…”
  • Add brand: + Add button in the header
  • Edit / Delete on each brand
  • Image (optional): pick/change an image from gallery when editing/adding a brand

Brand Form (Add / Edit)

Common fields:

  • Code — optional
  • Name — required
  • Slug — required
    • If slug is empty on create, it may be auto-generated from Name.
    • Slug usually supports alpha_dash (letters/numbers/_/-).
  • Description — required
  • Image — optional

Tips

  • Use consistent slugs to make brands easy to search and avoid duplicates.
